Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer in Galway
Do you want to be at the forefront of intelligence-driven cybersecurity? Our client's managed service operationalizes billions of threat indicators in real time to prevent over 90% of known threats against enterprise networks. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives. You will automate software deployments using cutting-edge technologies in a cloud-native environment. You will also be central to our cloud marketplace journey at the company.
What You'll Do:
Lead the development and management of our global infrastructure across multiple cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI).
Drive the overall direction of our CI/CD for the CIS division adhering to industry best practice.
Oversee software upgrades for internally managed software such as our database clusters including Redis and CrateDB.
Partner with the wider engineering team to improve our operational posture through enhanced monitoring and analysis of our cloud deployments.
Collaborate closely with the Principal Software Engineering Lead to efficiently allocate and manage DevOps responsibilities.

Experience We're Looking For:
Proficient in Linux system administration and Bash shell scripting.
Comfortable building images with Packer.
Expertise with at least one of the major cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experienced with Terraform and container technologies like Docker.
Experienced in building monitoring systems using Prometheus and Grafana.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and a results-oriented mindset emphasizing code quality.
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Experience with networking or cybersecurity fundamentals a plus.
Background in product development within a startup environment is highly desirable.
What Your Resume Should Flaunt:
At least 5+ years of Cloud Devops experience. The more, the merrier!
A B.S. or M.S. in computer science or related field - you've earned your stripes!
